December corn is up 1/2 cent per bushel, November soybeans are down 2 3/4

EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is up 1/2 cent per bushel,
November soybeans are down 2 3/4 cents, September KC wheat is down 4 1/2 cents,
September Chicago wheat is down 3 cents and September Minneapolis wheat is down
1 3/4 cents.

CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are lower Thursday morning in the
aftermath of a very poor day in the U.S. stock market which was down sharply on
earnings misses in the tech sector and worries about a slowing economy. Profit
taking and rotation out of the highest performing stocks also has been noted
for the past two weeks. Wednesday, the S&P manufacturing PMI was well below
trade expectations, as were new home sales. We are seeing more economic data
that suggests an economic slowdown, and this should put some pressure on the
Fed to lower rates. Traders are fearful that they might be too slow in doing so.

OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Wednesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial
Average down 504.22 at 39,853.87 and the S&P 500 down 128.61 at 5,427.13. The
10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.286%. Early Thursday, the September Dow Jones
Futures are down 23 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of
London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.9%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading
down 1.37% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 1.8%. Asian
markets are lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 3.28% and China's Shanghai
Composite Index down 0.52%.
