Wheat Markets Lead Crops in Mostly Higher Monday Session

Row-crop markets were quiet Monday but mostly slightly higher with wheat
leading the way and offering a positive influence on corn prices. Soybeans
traded both sides of even for much of the session before finally settling for a
marginal gain by the close. The market will look forward to Monday afternoon's
USDA update on planting progress for fall crops as well as winter wheat
conditions. Recent weather conditions and ahead-of-schedule planting have kept
a firm lid on prices as of late. Outside markets were mixed for Monday as well,
with a softer U.S. dollar but also mostly lower energy markets.
